Father's Day

We had a great Father's Day. On Saturday we got up and went to the lake. We went early and got out there before there were many boats and before it got too hot for Weston. It was a lot of fun. Weston is so cute in his little life jacket. It comes almost down to his knees. He doesn't seem to mind it too much though. We went to eat at Logan's favorite on Saturday night...Carrabbas. Sunday morning Weston and I made breakfast tacos for Logan. He loved them. Weston got him a green fee to play golf at a course. He was excited about it and is ready to start teaching Weston. We went to church and we took Weston to the nursery for the first time. It was SO much harder than I thought it would be to leave him. I had that horrible nervous, uneasy feeling in my stomach all morning and it didn't get better after we left him. He got his little tag to put on his back. I took some pictures of him of his first time. I had some tears afterwards....sounds pretty lame....but it was just so hard to leave him. We had a good rest of the day....rested and of course watched Tiger all afternoon....that was a fun father's day for Logan :)

3 months old

Weston turned 3 months old on Wednesday the 11th. He is already so big....we are up to 6 month clothes pretty much in everything he wears now. He rolled over half-way for the first time on Wednesday morning. I was screaming and trying to take his picture all at the same time. He sits in his bumbo chair like a big boy and watches baby Einstein with his dad. He is looking more and more like the Michelin man everyday. He smiles all the time and talks too us with all his fun little noises. He has also learned how to splash in the bath tub which has made bath time so much fun now. He can prop himself up on his arms and raise his head for a long time. He is the cutest and we love him so much!!

My trip to Kansas and Weatherford

I got to take a really long trip! We left last week and drove through the night and went to Kansas. All I know is I fell asleep in San Antonio and I woke up in Kansas! It was great....my dad drove us the whole way while me and mom slept in the back seat. I got to see all my grandparents up there....they all spoiled me really good. My grumpa cooked some amazing brisket and Mimi cooked lots of good food too. We celebrated Malakai's first birthday and my dad's 27th birthday. I love my cousin Kai....we even have matching shirts now. I got to go swimming for the first time in my Mimi's pool. The water was a little cold but I didn't even cry! I think I'm really going to like swimming. My mamu rocked me right to sleep....she's the best! I got to meet my grandpa Cross for the first time and we took a four generation picture with all of us.

On Tuesday, we left Kansas and drove to Weatherford. On the way we got to see my aunt Melody and Uncle Greg's new house. It's great. They are going to be neighbors with my aunt Mallory and Uncle Jason! Sure wish they all lived in Boerne by us.....

My mom and I stayed in Weatherford for the rest of the week while my dad went back home to work. It sure was hard saying bye to my dad for that long. I haven't been away from him that long before....and neither had my mom. I think they were both sad. But we had a great time in Weatherford. I got to spend a lot of time with my grams and pops. I loved it. I got to take a bath in my grams sink! My Mamaw and Papaw came over and saw me a lot too. I sure did a lot of smiling for my Papaw.

I got to see Kiersi and Kayden a lot and my aunt Melody. They all swam in the pool while I took a nap. I got to see my grandpa Rick too. We had lunch with Melissa on Friday....I think she really liked me....she held me the whole time! We went out to eat at Babe's on Friday night for my aunt Melody's 30th birthday! They made her act like a duck while they sang happy birthday to her. We met my dad half-way on Sunday and came on home with him. I had a great time on my trip.
