My birthday, Worship, and Greg's Home!

I always decorate the kids's doors for their birthday so Lucy decorated mine for me :)

Greg got to come home!!!  yay!!!  So so thankful!

Since Greg was better and home Melody snuck away for a little bit and met me for brunch on my birthday.  We made a pact to always see each other on our birthdays if at all possible.  I thought she had a good excuse to miss this year but she made it work which was super sweet of her.  We had a great time and I don't think we took a breath.  We had a lot to catch up on!

I had my first latte in a LONG time....like since I was diagnosed.  It tasted SO good.  It was a true treat!

After I left my car started overheating.  So annoying.  I tried pulling over and Trace was close by and came to help.  He added coolant but no luck.  It was bad and basically shut down in the middle of the intersection.  Thankfully I coasted through the intersection but wasn't really out of the way.  Trace finally got it working and got me up on the shoulder.  So kind of him to help me out!  We got it towed and Emily came and picked me up from his office.  Duncans save the day!

Caleb led worship that next night.  I didn't go but I got pictures and he did so good!  I'm so proud of him for being so brave and leading!

 

Best Night....my Surprise Party!

We had just taken Caleb to the homecoming dance and gotten back home.  I was tired but Logan asked if I wanted to go feed the cows at the Stanley property.  I said yes and we got in the truck.  Tyson and Lucy were on the couch and tired because of the long day.  They didn't even ask to go.  We drove up and I was like "oh my gosh, why are there lights on?"  Then Logan said it was for me....for my birthday.  What?!?!  Oh my goodness.  It was amazing.  My favorite people on a beautiful night dancing and desserts.  It was amazing.  

Emily had snuck in my house and gotten me clothes to change into.  Logan had brought his stuff in his truck...I just had NO idea.  Lucy had made the invitation on canva and sent it out.  All my friends had done the desserts and amazing decorations.  So sweet and perfect!!

And best of the best Logan had built a dance floor for me!!  What?!?!  Yes, really.  Wade and Aaron had come over that morning and hung up lights above it.  And Aaron brought a sound system so we could hear the music.  We all two stepped and had a blast.  It was the BEST.

At one point we all played musical chairs....yes, really.  It was hilarious and got a little crazy between these 2.  Aaron won but Emily didn't go down without a fight.  It was so funny.

My amazing hubby.  I can't believe he did all that for my birthday.  It was a night to remember that's for sure.  I love him so much!
