So for Logan's dad's 70th birthday he gave him tickets to the Master's. It was a treat (for both of them). They made a long weekend out of it and had some days to golf themselves. They will remember this forever. I'm SO thankful they were able to do it!!!
They couldn't take pictures/phones inside the tournament so this had to do!
Meanwhile Caleb had his buddies to the lake for the weekend. They did the jet skis and had a blast. Love this little trio!
Dad came and did some power washing!! Getting it ready for the summer :)
Sadly Caleb's birthday hit while Logan was gone but I tried to make it fun with all the things :). 15!!!!
Love this kid so much. He has matured and grown so much over the last year. He is the life of the party and makes our family so much more fun. You never know what he'll say which can go good or bad. Has a love for the Lord and others. I'm so thankful for him!
We tried to find them on the tv!
The moment Rory won! It was so awesome!!
The next day we went to get his permit!!! This is a bit scary....he definitely has some learning to do! Glad we have a year!
Hard day...had scans which aren't that awful but the IV is!!! The lady hit a nerve as she was doing it and sent awful pain down my arm. Then they weren't going to do the whole scan because it wasn't in the order to do abdomen and pelvic. It was very frustrating and no one would listen. I got super upset and just felt so over it ALL. They finally talked to my drs and got the plan fixed but it was emotionally exhausting. I cried a ton....like even in the scan. I cried in the car on way home but then helped at the school so that was fun and definitely got my mind off of it all! Got scan results later that day and still have small spots on lungs but everything else is clear so that's a win! I've also had a partial collapsed lung since my big surgery and it's back to normal so that is great too!
Tired boy from a sleepover :)
Vitamin C and getting to sit outside! C and D together! It was a win!
Lunch with this cutie pie!
Hibachi night at home! YUM!
killing squirrels that are wrecking havoc on my furniture!!!
Easter! Love my crew! We did the Saturday night service which always feels a bit weird but still fun! Then dinner afterwards as tradition with the Watsons at Sheps. It was fun! A crazy storm hit that night and sadly mom and dad lost tons of beautiful trees in their backyard. Only slight damage to their house but the yard is sad :(
Sunday we met at the lake and played and did Easter egg hunt with the Bradleys. Fun day and loved being with family of course!
Never too old :). I just have to get more and more creative every year. I had prizes with numbers. So they find eggs and then have to claim their prizes. It was motivating enough to keep them hunting! And of course some had $$ in them!
We missed our KS family!!!
Caleb's spring basketball.....this cracked us up.....sitting on the bench like he's laying on the couch or something. He is normally the entertainer :)
Logan took me to first part of chemo today. Round 31. I met with Dr. Lohrey and that went well. They saw the start of a blood clot on the scan so they wanted me to do a round of thinners. That was about the most change.
Then sweet Amanda came to the infusion part of my appointment. So fun to be with her.
Caleb had a game that night! so fun to watch him!
Tennis buddies and doubles partners! They got some bling! So proud of them!
Field trip for Tyson to Perot museum. He had fun :)
