Boys Trip to Arkansas

Jason and his boys had gone on this canoeing/camping trip a few times and mentioned it to Logan.  He was immediately interested and decided to go on it this year with our boys.  So they left this past Friday for the weekend.  It was a really long drive but totally worth it.  They camped right by the Buffalo river and went canoeing down it on Saturday.  Jason, Kai & Eli were there too along with many other dads & sons.  They had an amazing time!

Caleb & Eli were inseparable......and lots of mud :)  They got rained on pretty hard both nights which made for some damp sleeping conditions.....

Caleb was a bit tired on the way home.  He was SO very sad to leave Eli.....they are such good buddies and I just love that.  SO wish they lived closer!!!!

While they were gone over the weekend we got to see Pops and ride on the new ATV.

On Monday Lucy and I went over to Aunt Mel's house to celebrate Kiersi's 10th birthday so Tyson got to spend the day with his daddy.  He was in heaven.  Before they left Tyson said he needed his hammer :).  

Mel decided to plan a surprise party for Kiersi after school.  It worked and was so fun!!!  I can't believe she's 10!!!  It was a fun afternoon celebrating her.  This someone in the picture thought she was just about as big as all the other girls.  She had a blast....and I mean a blast.  All the girls there were so sweet to include her play with her.  

just watch this if you're not sure if Lucy was having a good time.....
