Jamaica!

Logan earned another free trip for us from his lumber company.  Henson Lumber is the best and it's the one vendor I told him he MUST always use!  Ha!  So this time we got to go to Jamaica!  Never one of us had been there and it was beautiful.  The first night they do a dinner for all the group on the beach and we got to light floating lanterns and set them off over the ocean.  So fun!  Lucy loves the movie Tangled so that's all I kept thinking about :).

Snorkeling tour right off the shore from our resort.....it was neat but of course I was freezing in the water by the end!
There were tons of starfish just off the beach from our resort.  I've never seen them like that.

breakfast buffet and endless coffee is one of our favorites!!
Our favorite day was when we got off the resort and got to see more of Jamaica.  We had a tour into the rainforest to go cliff jumping and tubing down the river.  It was so beautiful and a very fun day!  They drive on the opposite side of the road and drive quite crazy so getting there was pretty interesting!!  We learned a ton about their culture from our driver.  We love getting to know the locals...thats one of our favorite parts of our trips!

Yes I jumped off too.....they were very high cliffs....I had to go first so I wouldn't think about it too long :)
Usain Bolt is from Jamaica and this is his sign?!?!  So that's what we're doing :)

And that water was FREEZING.....

lots of reading and relaxing on the beach....

This is right before parasailing....it was fun and we're really glad we did it.  I got super nauseous while we were up there though....it was windy and it got to me after awhile.
Logan met the couple that was with us parasailing and come to find out he plays NFL for Oakland.  So that was kinda cool!
Last night.....the sunsets were beautiful each night.
The water was so clear!!!
Very fun trip and great time just to be together and recharge.  But of course we were excited to get home to all our little people :).  Thanks to Barry and Judy (and Grams & Pops) for coming down and holding down the fort.....soccer/basketball and baseball practice too!!
