Lucy Turns SIX

Well there wasn't much a decision for Lucy to make....she wanted an Elsa party without a doubt!!  We just did it at the house again after school on a Friday.  Melody of course made the cake and did awesome as usual.  We played Frozen bingo, pin the nose on Olaf and just played!  It was fun and wild!  She wore her Elsa dress the whole time and loved every minute of her party :).  

We left on our trip the day before her birthday :( but Mimi and Pawpaw made her actual birthday super special!!!

We gave her a charm bracelet that she can start collecting charms for it. She was so excited and loves wearing it.

She's the cutest.  I can't believe she's 6.  I remember not being able to think past her starting Kindergarten and now she's 3/4 of the way done with it.  She is so joyful and gets excited over everything.  She is a sweet friend to so many and is always quick to give hugs and smiles.  She is so animated with her eyes when she's talking and excited.  I love watching her talk and tell me about her day.  She LOVES her kinder teacher....I mean loves her.  She has been more than an answer to prayer and we are SO very grateful for her.  She loves being outside, playing with the chickens or her dog, pretending, coloring, and doing anything with me.  I love her so very much!  Happy birthday little girl!  

The night of her party was a daddy/daughter dance at the school.  I think it had been a long day for this little girl.  She was in tears just thinking about changing and putting a dress on.  It was more than a battle to get her ready.  I was forcing her to do it.  I finally realized it might just be a little much to ask much more of her for that night.  So we got a picture and called it a night.  She was worn out and there will be other daddy/daughter dances!!

Mimi and Pawpaw gave her a play house that her daddy built and put together on the back porch.  It's SO cute and she loves pretending in it!!!
