Christmas Decorating, Fun Surprise, Lucy RV Trip, and Half Marathon

After Ruidoso we came home and got the house all decorated.  The kids were SO excited and Lucy was bouncing off the walls giddy with excitement.

Caleb has been obsessed with RZR's and all things UTV for a long long time.  Logan surprised Caleb and took him to the store in Weatherford that sells them.  He was so excited!!

Another flag tournament....PYA put one on....It was some pretty stiff competition but still fun and a great experience!

Her front tooth has been wiggly for awhile and FINALLY she lost it!

UIL competition in Eastland for Lucy and Tyson....sadly I don't have any pics of Tyson but he did great.  Lucy competed in chess puzzle.  Tyson did chess puzzle and got 3rd and number sense and got first place!!!  He was so pumped!!

Grams and Pops finally got to take Lucy on an RV trip.  They planned it with the Hobbs and Eva and Everly got to go with them.  All the girls had a blast.  They went nearby to a campground and had all kinds of fun.....Santa was there, train ride, decorating cookies, jumping pillow, story time, sand art, etc.

Melody and I went down to college State and ran in the BCS Marathon.  We had tried to do it last year but they cancelled because of Covid so we deferred for this year.  It was so fun to be together and run!

I didn't get a PR and maybe those days are no longer but I ran a 1:48.  It felt great and I was pleased!  So much easier on the body than a full marathon!!!

Meanwhile the boys went hunting, caught a guy stealing lumber from a job, and ate Whataburger :)

They had a computer glitch and our names were wrong on our bibs.  Mel was Alex and I was Amanda...kinda funny!

We stayed at the hotel on campus and it was SO neat!!
