Dominican Republic!

Logan earned another free trip through his lumber company.  We went to the Dominican Republic and stayed at the Hard Rock Hotel.  It was a blast....just fun to get away and be with him!!

One of our excursions one day was to an off shore platform.  We paddle boarded, snorkeled (saw nurse sharks and tons of fish), got a massage, and relaxed.  It was so fun!

These pictures just make me laugh.  We were walking on the beach and one of the "vendors" had birds and the next one had a monkey.  He asked if we wanted to take pictures with it.  Afterwards he told us how much.  HA!!!!  Logan was made the rest of the trip.  It was a TOTAL rip off.  

This was another one of our excursions.  I can't remember the name of the place but it was super fun.  We went on a walking tour to learn about the Dominican culture, got to drink some yummy coffee, went into caves, swam in the Blue hole, did tons of zip lines, and got to swim in the pools at the end.  It was a full day but really fun!

Played putt-putt at the resort one night with our traveling buddies, Brian & Heather.  I think somehow I actually beat everyone!!  That's super fun when your hubby is a golfer and takes it SO serious!

Every night we went to dinner with a group of people and we said it was this guy's birthday every night.  It was hilarious.  He is funny and such a good sport about it!

No pics but we never do the spa on any of our trips but we did this time and oh man it was amazing!!!  I did a facial and Logan got a massage.  It was unlike anything I've ever done before.  You do all these treatments before you even go to your appt....steam room, sauna, mud room, ice room, etc.  It was crazy!!!  But so relaxing and super fun.

We always make a sad face to go home but honestly we're always so excited to see our crew!!  Thankfully Mimi and Pawpaw & Grams and Pops took awesome care of them!

While we were gone this little princess got to go to a father/daughter party at our church.  Pops filled the role and took her!!  She looked so cute.  Mimi got her all ready to go :).  

And her "actual" birthday was while we were on the trip.....so of course more cake!!
