Labor Day with Davis Family, Birthday, and more Sports!

The Davis's worked it out where they could come down for the weekend.  It was SO fun to have them.  Everyone has a buddy and it's so much fun to be together.  We always do the lake together because that's what we've done for YEARS.  It was a blast.  

And then this......

We were ready to put the hot dog up at the lake house.  There was a goose squawking SO loud on the shore.  Logan said "hey Caleb, I'll give you $20 to go put this rope around that thing's neck!" Well Caleb is ALWAYS up for a dare/challenge.  Catherine chimed in that she'd pay him another $20 too.  Caleb bailed off the boat quick and up to the shore he went.  He went chasing the goose and we were all on the boat watching and cracking up.  He chased it around the corner so we couldn't see what was happening.  All of a sudden he comes around the corner CARRYING the goose!!!!  Oh my word.  We lost it.  I haven't laughed that hard in a LONG time.  It was so funny.  He wasn't even scared of the thing and it was HUGE!!!  So needless to say he got his $40!!!  After we finished in the boat we came back to the lake house and he caught the thing again.  We got some close up pictures and he named her "Georgia".....that kid.  Sometimes there just isn't words for him!!!!

We hosted the 7th grade football team for pizza and swimming!  It was fun and great to meet more of the parents.

And of course a game of football broke out....
