Anniversary/New Years Eve

We celebrated our anniversary a few days early.  Went out to our favorite dinner spot and then saw a movie.  Fun night!  So thankful for my other half :).  14 years and love him more than ever!!!

We didn't do too much for New Years Eve....just stayed home and had a family night.  I made bags they got to open every hour......it ended a little later than their normal bed time :).  We didn't quite make it to midnight :) but they had fun!  Bingo, dessert, photo props and confetti poppers :)

And I got to see my buddy!!!  They were in for Christmas and Grant and her got to come over for dinner.  It was SO fun.  I love her to pieces and so grateful for our friendship through the MANY years :)

Grams and Pops gave baseball bats they had made for the boys to them.  They were super excited about them!

We left all the kids alone while we ran a few errands.  We came back and they had taken the movie Home Alone and made it come alive in my house.....crazy kids.  They had a drawing of it and everything.  Pretty funny!

Last peppermint cake!!  She did about a million of them!

Then off to Kansas.....we spent a few days up there with everyone.

they got a BIG surprise from Mimi and Pawpaw.....but to find their surprise they had to follow clues in the scavenger hunt and get all the puzzle pieces....

They FINALLY got the puzzle together and found out that we are all going to DISNEY WORLD!!!!  They were pretty excited.  I don't think my kids knew what all to be excited about but they were happy. Weston was immediately concerned with missing school :)  HA!

It was MUCH easier to say bye this time than normal knowing that we would all see each other in a week or so!!!!  We had a great Christmas and SO grateful for our family!
