Christmas Parties, Awards, and Family Time!

Carols, Candles and Children this year at our church was quite something.  Every year it's quite the night and this year was the same.  Caleb screamed lines from the movie Elf from the audience, acted as a shepherd, and Lucy and Tyson sang on the stage.

Lucy's 2nd grade Christmas program at school was the cutest!  She was an elf along with Kate and Piper.  They did great!  She also got to hold a candle at the end as her class sang Away in a Manger.

UIL awards!
This kid was beaming!!!

Christmas parties in their classrooms!

UIL awards for Caleb and Weston!  Caleb did Mathematics, Number Sense and Calculator.  Weston did Mathematics (3rd), Calculator (4th) and Science (2nd).  I'm so proud of my kids!
I was in charge of a hot chocolate bar for all the UIL kids.  It went great!
Jason Medlin got the opportunity to speak to all the kids at the junior high as part of the fellowship of Christian students.  We fed them all pizza and they heard the gospel.  It was quite amazing!!

Our Sunday school Christmas party at our house.  The theme this year was a movie theme (non Christmas).  Logan and Aaron were the duo from Dumb and Dumber.  Rachel and I teamed up to be Ana and Elsa.  It was such a fun night!!

We hosted the Chilcutt side of the family for lunch the next day and then that night was Christmas with my side of the family.  We played bingo games, opened presents and ate pizza.  Fun night together!!

I love my crew!

Gingerbread train kit!

We all went to see Sing 2 at the theater!
Then out to the lake house to rake LOTS of leaves!!

That night we got to meet up with the Irons and eat dinner and walk around the Christmas lights.  So fun to be with my buddy!!!

Yummy hot chocolate on the way home!
Some big news for our family.....we bought some acreage down the street from our house.  We've been spending a lot of time playing on the land.  Charlie loves it.  We took the John boat down there and the kids rode it down the creek.

Waffles at Grams house on Christmas Eve morning!
