Christmas in Weatherford and Kansas

Since we were traveling to Kansas this year for Christmas we did our Christmas the six of us a little early.  We made soup and had another "fancy" dinner (thanks to Lucy).  Then Lucy read the Christmas story, we talked as a family for a bit reflecting on the year, and then opened gifts.  It was so fun!

We did these jackets for the employees this year and so we gave one to each of the boys.  They loved them.

Caleb and Logan got coveralls....and would you believe they got the same size.  Yes, a little big on Caleb but he's growing by the minute!

The pups got new bowls and a ducky.  It was in shreds in a few days :(

Then Christmas with my side over at my mom's house.  We had so much fun!

Kayden had planned Jeopardy (family style).  It was so fun.

Weston read the Christmas story....

And some stood in honor of the reading of the scriptures....

Traveling crockpot.....you know you have a big family and travel to a lot of sports!

He has a HUGE head.....the hat didn't quite fit.

Mom and Dad got weighted vests that they could walk in......we had a little trouble getting dad's on because of his shoulder but finally we got it!

Larry the mannequin was the favorite gift.....it was for Lucy from my mom.  She can curl and do her hair.

But for some reason when she opened it she laughed and laughed so hard it brought tears.

The next day we headed to Kansas.  Larry came and entertained Lucy :)

The girls made gingerbread houses....or attempted to!

Lots of fun cousin time.....these 2 are inseparable 

And lots of eating....

Santa came!  Pickleball net and paddles :)

We made Lucy try Mamu's wedding dress on....she was thrilled.  Mamu was 19 when she got married and TINY!  It barely buttoned in the back!

Pickleball in the driveway.....Papaw and Logan against Kai and Weston.  I don't think the boys want to tell how that went.....ha!  44 year old dad and 70 year old grandpa whipped up on them!

We all went to Top Golf together!  So fun!

All the boys went and played paintball on Friday.  They had a huge group of dad and boys go with them so they had the place all to themselves.  They had so much fun!

Weston got one to the neck at close range :)

Meanwhile we took the girls to aviate to jump and expend some energy.  They had a blast too!

That night was BINGO night!  Mimi has so many fun prizes.  It was fun.

Awesome week and just an awesome Christmas.  I love my family so very much.  It was so good to have so many days of just being together.
