Lucy's birthday, Another Procedure, Tennis and Baseball

We got home from our trip the night of Lucy's birthday.  So sweet Emily went and picked up lunch for her and spoiled her!!!  So sweet!

That night we got to celebrate her again with Mimi and Pawpaw since they were still in town!

The next morning I went for yet another procedure.....#10....all was good and they traded for a tiny drain....so next up they said 2 weeks and they'll remove it!  That will be a GOOD day!!

I had to laugh....Logan had to work since we just got back in town and so Melody met me at hospital.  She picked me up from the front of the hospital when I was discharged and then we drove over to her car.  I felt fine and drove myself home.  But it was funny to be driving with my "fall risk" band on.

I went straight to the tennis courts to see this one play!  He had his first JH matches and did great!

The next day Caleb had a baseball tournament so I went and cheered him on.

Cabo Trip!

We got the privilege of going to Cabo with Logan's lumber company this year.  Last year we had to miss the trip because of all the things going on with me.  So it was a fun treat to feel good enough to get to go this year!  I had chemo on Tuesday and we left early Friday but thankfully I felt good.  We stayed in the Secrets resort in Cabo.

The beach is different than most tropical places.  You don't really get in the water because it's so dangerous.  But it was still so fun to sit and watch the waves.  The weather was a lot like California.  It was cooler in the mornings and at night but the day got pretty warm.

We had a welcome dinner the first night on a deck overlooking the beach.  It was fun.  There were a lot of new couples on the trip this year so we got to meet a lot of new people.

The first full day we just hung out at the resort.  We walked the beach for a long time and read books.  It was so relaxing.

We ate at the seafood restaurant the second night.  It was beautiful to see the ocean from our seats!

The second full day we got up super early and went deep sea fishing.  It was chilly when we took off.  We didn't really go that far.  We first fished near the shore and caught several mackerel.  It was fun to fish!

We tried to go farther off shore and fish for marlin but sadly didn't catch any.  We saw one but didn't catch it!

This was our group!  Tons of fun and glad we went!

That night a group of us went to the hibachi grill.  It was a fun night with lots of laughing!!

Oh the egg shell....thankfully I threw it and made it in the chef's hat and did NOT have to take a shot.

The next full day (our last full day) we just stayed at the resort.  We walked the beach again and just hung out.  It was relaxing and so fun!

They had a putting course and so we played for awhile.  We made up our own rules and had some good laughs.  Sadly I lost bad :(

The last night we had a cocktail hour at sunset and then ate at the Mexican food restaurant with some new friends we made.  It was a fun night!

Meanwhile while we were gone the older 2 boys had disciple now.  Sadly I don't have a picture of Caleb but Weston's group had a blast.  They were at the Gray's house.
