July 4th Weekend

Fun July 4th weekend.....Friday night we just stayed home and grilled some steaks....yummy!

Then Saturday morning we took the Roberson clan to the lake. We went early before all the crazies got out on the water. It was fun watching Travis with his LONG legs try to get up on a ski or wakeboard. Logan almost knocked himself out on the wakeboard....not good. The boys all had a blast together. They jumped off the boat about a 100 times. Needless to say it was a great napping afternoon!!! We love that family! Thanks for coming with us!!!

Saturday night we went to some friends house and had a fish fry. It was yummy and a lot of fun. The kids all had a blast playing with each other.

They even got to do some sparklers. It was a bit windy so a little scary as they are waving sparks everywhere.

Sunday night we made some homemade ice cream!!! Yum! This is our favorite thing to make in the summer. Weston loved the rock salt. He had fun putting it in the ice cream maker for dad. It was all fun until he poured a lot of it out on dad's grass. Not good. I didn't know but salt kills grass. Weston got in trouble and we had to dig out rock salt from the grass for awhile. Fun fun.


It sure was yummy! Weston kept saying "ice cream time"....everything is time lately...."swimming time"...."breakfast time".....pretty funny.

Then yesterday we had our sunday school group over to swim at the neighborhood pool. We had a great turnout. The kids had a blast. It was fun to have everyone out.

Oh and Caleb is doing amazing!!! This weekend he started sleeping 12 hours!!! Wahoo!!! 8:30pm to 8:30am!
