Around the House, Hiking at Mineral Wells, and our 9 Year Anniversary

It's been really cold since we've been home from Kansas so we've done a lot of playing inside.  And with 3 boys in the house you have to get creative to keep them all playing and not zombies in front of the iPad or TV!  So we've made a huge fort, played hide and go seek a BUNCH of times, had truck races, cooked hotdogs and smores in our fireplace, made homemade snowball cookies, played a lot of monopoly and spot it, and took down Christmas decorations together.  This little girl has found her new favorite place in our house....the end table that you can crawl all the way through :)  It's pretty cute to see her coming through from the other side.

We had to show some love for Mama's Baylor bears but sadly we didn't quite finish the game....we aren't quite sure what happened!!!!

Ice on the trees!!!  Brrr!!!!

Saturday was actually sorta warm and the sun was out so we decided to take them hiking at Mineral Wells state park.  Sadly a lot of the areas were closed at the park because of all the rain but honestly it didn't matter.  We found one trail and that was all it took.  They had a blast and it was just good to get outside!!!!

We did some hiking, threw rocks in the water, and had a picnic.  Lucy didn't come this time but she got to spend a few hours with Grams & Pops :)

So I haven't laughed this hard in awhile but as soon as my crazy husband saw this rock he immediately thought of taking pictures like we were falling.  So we took a BUNCH and cracked up the whole time.  Enjoy........

And thanks to our great photographers we actually got one.....

Gosh they are cute....if only they acted like this with each other all the time......or maybe even 50% of the time!!!!
And New Years Eve was our 9th anniversary so we celebrated and went out New Years night.  We went to eat and to see the movie Unbroken.  It was great....we both have read the book and I highly suggest reading the book if you haven't.  Sadly, one of the boys threw up while we were out so we got to come home and clean up throw up.....BUT it was still great to get a break and spend time with each other.  He is the best and we have so much fun together.  He makes me laugh and I just couldn't imagine my life with anyone else.  What a fun/crazy 9 years it's been!!!  I counted that we have moved NINE times in NINE years!!!  That is rather insane....but then again maybe that's what happens when you marry a home builder!!  He is my favorite and I love him to pieces!!
