Moving, NO Training Wheels, Museum, Kitty-Cat, Hunting and First Days of School

Well moving day came and went really quick!  It was a crazy, rainy day but we somehow got it all done.  It was definitely a bittersweet thing to leave that house.  We loved the house and absolutely loved our sweet neighbors.  We will miss them dearly.  They had become like another set of grandparents to our kids!!  We've never had neighbors like that!

And as soon as we were starting to set up Mamaw's house the list of things needing some "work" grew and grew.  I have to say I've definitely been spoiled being married to a builder and not having to have things break in our houses much!  But Pops came to the rescue and got to do a little plumbing the first few hours we were moved in :).

With the move came a new bed for my sweet girl....we decided not to set up the crib in the new house.  This was probably the hardest thing out of all the moving.....just the realization that the "baby" stage for our family is over.  So she got some fun pictures in it for the last time.....the last few weeks she was climbing right out of it anyways....it was time :(.

So per her request she is sleeping on Spider-Man sheets and loves them.  She tells everyone about them :).  She is doing great in her bed and sleeping all night!

As soon as we moved into Mamaw's house Tyson was ready to take off his training wheels.  The driveway is so long and straight that it's perfect for learning.  He got it quick and hasn't looked back since.

We moved in Saturday and the boys started school the next week.  Weston started 3rd grade at Peaster Elementary which is about 7 minutes from where we're living.  He's teacher is Mrs. Milner and he loves her.  She seems great and he is adjusting quite well.

Caleb started 1st grade at the Rock Academy.  This is a homeschool co-op school that meets twice a week.  He learns Language Arts, Science, History, Bible and Math.  Then they give me the material to teach him on the other days.  It's been a huge adjustment but it's going ok most days!

His buddy Jacey is at school with him.  This is the best picture I could get of them on the first day :)

Here's school at home :)

And Tyson started Pre-K at North Side.  He loves it and I mean loves it.  His teachers are Mrs. Carrie and Mrs. Shelia.  He is doing great!

Caleb had won tickets to the Science museum in Fort Worth and so Logan took him one Friday (perk of homeschool) before they expired.  He loved it.....mainly being with his daddy all day!

Lucy Lou.....daddy's boots!

She warms right up with Jared :).  We had a family hang out next door at Gram's house.  I guess this is the only picture I took.

Well this little girl LOVES kitties....so without much thought we went to the animal shelter in town and I let her pick out a kitten!  She is quite in love and also learning a lot.  The kitten was tiny and she had to learn how to be gentle very quickly!!!!  Some moments have been good and some not so good.....She first named her Kitty Cat....but we have now been calling her Lily.  She's really cute and makes another addition to our family.  HA!

look close....

Yes, poor Lily gets to basically be like Lucy's baby doll....

Stormy is still around too....she tends to hang out on the front porch far away from Charlie and Lily....she doesn't really like friends....

Tyson doing some repairs on my car.....he begs to look at my engine on the car all the time.

Logan and Jesse went dove hunting and got their maximum amount in about 30 minutes....I'd say it was a good hunt!

And Weston got his own hunting license.....that's a big day in this house!

Fun at the park!  We had a picnic and rode bikes.  And we caught the train at just the right time!

throwing a ball at the fan doesn't go so well.....add it to the list of things to be fixed!!!
