Caleb Turns 8 and gets Baptized!!!

Caleb's birthday morning before he went to school!  He is the last of the kids to get his birthday so he feels like he is waiting forever!!
Cookie cake at school!
Had to take a picture of this.....they trade on who has to carry the trashcan back up to the house on trash days.....it was his turn and he had a small melt down.  It fell on its side and instead of taking the time to set it back up he dragged it the whole way like that.  Goodness.....
Birthday presents!!

Tyson's playdate with Easton....

Soccer!

And then baseball and then PARTY time!!!

Obstacle course in the backyard....it was so easy and tons of fun.  And actually a month later....most of it is still up in the backyard :)

Everyone got sweat bands and wrist bands.....even this cutie.  She had fun.

Birthday BOY!  We had pizza, cake and fun.  He loved every minute of it!

This might be one of the cutest pics of them!!!

We timed everyone (Logan's idea....so competitive) doing the obstacle course and my NIECE won!!!  Love that a girl beat all those boys :).  HA!

Cake of course was made by my sister....love it!

He's a mess and brings me to my knees ALMOST daily but I love him to pieces and couldn't imagine our family/my life without him.  He has the biggest heart and can melt you with his sweet heart for others.  He isn't afraid of talking to anyone and most of the times meets just about everyone in the room.  He just told me he is best friends with the lunch lady.....that just about sums him up.  He is definitely (we are all) a work in progress but I also know that the Lord has given him a boldness for Him that my others don't have.  I'm proud of him and excited to see what the days ahead bring for him.  We love you Caleb!

He has been telling us for quite some time that he asked Jesus in his heart.  We actually were living at Mamaw's house when he told us so it's been awhile.  We kept letting him bring it up at different times.  We've had some really good conversations with him and I believe it's real and He knows the Lord.  They were having a baptism service at our church and he decided he wanted to be baptized.  Sunday morning we found out that Logan could be the one to baptize him.  It was a really special night.....Lucy and Tyson singing songs at the beginning of the service followed by Logan baptizing Caleb with my family there to see.  It was great!!!!

This card......wow!  My sweet friend made it for Caleb.  She is SO thoughtful and went the extra mile to make his special night even more special.
