More Fall Sports, Pumpkin Party, Halloween, ROSES and my 10K!

On our way home from Arkansas, Lucy went to Sawyer's birthday party.  Kate and her were the only girls but they had a great time.
More camera/videoing at the football games!  This is Weston's team!
Tyson was still doing awesome at his kicking and football.  It's so fun to watch him!  Aunt Mel, Uncle Greg and Kayden all got to come see him play.

These two got to make a Costa Rican dessert so they made empanadas for their class.  They were funny trying to teach them how to make a pastry :).
More soccer fun with buddies!

And basketball too!

We had our annual pumpkin carving party at the McCormicks.  It's always such a fun night!

Medlin spoke at our FCS at the JH and did amazing.  Amanda and I snuck away to vote during the in between time.

Getting to see Jacey play volleyball!
This was an overwhelming surprise.....little did I know when I went to the rock gym to vote that Emily and Rachel were set up around the corner collecting roses.  Mrs. Hobbs had come up with the idea for all these people to write me encouraging notes for my surgery coming up and tie them to a rose.  It was unbelievable how many people participated.  They showed up to my house that night and started bringing in vase after vase.  I didn't even know what to say.....totally overwhelmed.  It was kids from church, community members, sweet friends and family, church friends and staff, etc etc.  AMAZING.

Love these people!!!

Twin day at school!  Eva and Lucy were the cutest!

Halloween was a little different this year because Tyson had a football game out of town so Lucy went to Grams house and trick or treated with friends.  We made it there later on and Tyson got to still trick or treat some.  They had a blast.  Lucy was a skeleton and Tyson was a big green blow up suit.

Tennis party!
Lucy went to Tatum's to celebrate her birthday and had a fun sleepover!

I learned how to drive the tractor finally!  Not hard and kinda fun!
Rick, Aaron and I had talked about running a 10K before my surgery.  I found on in Fort Worth and we all signed up for it.  Sadly it got cancelled because they thought it was going to rain so we decided to still run and did it at Rails to Trails.  It was hard but I did it!  Caleb joined in too and beat us all.  He did great.  I wanted to do this before surgery and it felt so good to have this as my goal and get it accomplished!

Lucy's on the media team with Preteen adn doing a great job learning how to run all the equipment on Sunday mornings!
She had a Veteran's day program at school and got to jump rope for it!
