Caleb's 1st Birthday!

Last Tuesday was my little boy's big day! He turned 1! We had a really fun day together. He started it out with a little birthday singing from me and his big brother. Then he got to eat a waffle with his candle in it. But bad Mama that I am sat it down in front of him so he could blow it out and he of course touched it.....so he burned his little finger and started crying. Yes, I felt terrible and dumb. I'm guessing that's NOT what he was wishing for :)

Then we made a really quick trip to the zoo. We met Logan there for a really quick look at the animals. It was fun and both boys enjoyed it a lot.

But of course our favorite part of the zoo is the TRAIN! So we all piled on and rode it before we had to leave.

Do you think he's enjoying it??

I love this picture....my 3 boys :)

The birthday boy was SO tired......he still needs that morning nap. He was out before we got out to the parking lot at the zoo!

And yes, this is our new way to ride.....Caleb's facing the front in Weston's old seat and Weston has moved up to a booster. They both love the new seats and it's so fun to see them both!

We went to doctor on Friday for his 1 year well visit. Everything was great! We are so thankful for that. He weighed 25lbs and 2 oz (80%) and 30 1/4" (70%). So we actually have a child on the charts for weight now!!! That's a first for this age! He weighs a pound less than Weston did at this same age.

We sure LOVE our little Caleb. He is so much fun. He's not walking yet....but definitely crawling like crazy all over the house and cruising on everything. He loves to clap his hands and babble, be held by mama or dad, wave, EAT, throw his sippy cup, wiggle and roll while you change his diaper, chase you by crawling around the room, knock down towers that you build, push his airplane truck, eat dirt or anything else in reach, get really dirty, pull everything out of every drawer in the kitchen while mama is cooking, and be outside. We thought Weston was "all" boy....but Caleb seems to be redefining the meaning of those words.
