Pawpaw's 60th Birthday in Kansas

We went to Kansas last weekend to visit and to celebrate Pawpaw's 60th birthday!  When we got there Hollis and Kinley were there and they had a blast with Lucy.  

Mimi has gotten Lucy 2 kitchens down in the playroom....Lucy was pretty excited about them....can you tell??

So I know there are a bunch of pictures of Lucy but I just can't handle her cuteness....she was trying raspberries for the first time and it was just so cute!!!  The faces she made were just cracking us up....

They found cancer in Mamu's jaw a few weeks ago and she had to have surgery the day before we got there to get it out.  It was an awful surgery and not fun at all for her.  She is doing ok but it's going to be a long recovery for her.  Papa and her have moved into Mimi's house so she can help care for them.  Papa was already staying there while we were there so we got to see him a lot.  Mamu was in ICU the whole time we were there and she's getting out today.

So Aunt Janet was there too!  Her birthday was the day we got there.  She turned 60 also so we had a double party :)

Lucy and her buddy......(she's pointing to China because Norah is there somewhere...Mallory and Jason's baby girl they are adopting soon).  They will be best of buddies and we are hoping will be really close in age!!!

It was a great visit as usual.  We are always sad to leave and so thankful for our time there.
