Post Disney, Basketball, Sourdough, Camp Out Under the Stars, Pop's Birthday, and Valentine's

After Disney we were all quite worn out.  Lucy had a pretty bad cough and I got sick and it took awhile to get over.  Just thankful we all felt good while we were on the trip!  There was lots of homework to makeup when we got back.  Through many tears it all got done :)

No words for this....

Lots of Elsa dress up when we got home....like every single day.
Coffee on the porch!
Lots of leaves.....at lake house
My helper....

At Christmas Mallory started teaching and telling me all about her recent hobby of making sourdough bread.  I was really interested and started trying it after we got home from Disney.  It definitely takes  a lot of patience to get your starter going.

Finally after weeks I finally got my first loaves....lots of learning to do but it's working!  Its way better for you that normal bread off the shelves at the store.  You are creating your own yeast and creating a much longer fermentation process.  So when you eat it your body recognizes the form that it's in versus the fake bread that we buy on the store that has all kinds of added junk.

My workout buddy :)

We had a splurge with some Christmas money and got a coffee pot kinda like Mimi and Pawpaw's.  It is so fun and makes awesome coffee!!!
My barista....
The middle two boys are playing basketball on a Peaster team but in a Millsap league.  They are both loving it and doing great!

The boys have been talking about camping out in the yard and finally decided to do it.  We all dinner by the fire and then Lucy and I went up to the house.  They actually didn't even put up a tent.....they slept under the stars in their sleeping bags.  They lasted till 1ish in the morning and then Charlie wouldn't leave them alone so they all came inside to their beds.

We had a fun snow day on Pops birthday!  They called off school and Pops came over for his birthday.

Babka bread and more sourdough!

That weekend we went over to Mel's to celebrate Pops again.  Logan actually drove up to Kansas for his Papa's 90th birthday!

And on Sunday these crazy kids jumped in the pool!!!

Fun Valentine's parties at school....

Weston got to go to his first Disciple Now at a church in town with some of his close friends.  We hosted the 10th grade boys from our church.  It was an exhausting but super fun weekend!!
And a little basketball in between!

Day off of school so we went and played at Film Alley.
