Arkansas!

We decided this kinda late in the summer but wanted to get away just the 6 of us.  So we decided to book a VRBO in Arkansas.  We stayed right close to Degray Lake and had an absolute blast.  We (I mean Logan) figured out a way to pull the boat AND bring 6 bikes!!!  Ha!  Definitely not an easy task but he figured it out!  We were a sight!
Someone knew we were leaving and definitely wanted to come with us.  I've never seen him do that before.....poor puppy.  Grams took good care of him while we were gone.
First stop!!
Kids had to try out the hot tub as soon as we got there!

The lakes are just beautiful!  Hard to even describe.  No houses are built on them so it's just so peaceful with all the trees.  This is day one on Lake Degray.....

The second day the middle 2 and Logan played golf at the course at the state park.  Lucy was begging to go horseback riding.  So Weston came with us and we had a blast.

After we finished we did some geocaching....Weston was ALL into it.

Meanwhile boys were having a blast too....

That night we went to Pirates Cove mini golf!  Super fun!!

Day three.....Lake Ouachita!  Words can even describe the beauty!  It was so much fun.

The best lunch spot ever.....amazing cove!

Day four.....we went to Hot Springs and tried to find a fun hike in the National Park.  It took some time to find much and Lucy was about over it once we got to the trailhead.  So the boys went ahead and hiked to the top.  We stayed and played in the river :).

Day five.....we went back to Degray Lake to another part.  It was smoother and we had so much fun.

We ate at the state park lodge restaurant that night and then did the Escape Room!

And we escaped!
Day six.....we went back to Degray but decided to fish.  We didn't have a lot of luck but we still had fun!  A storm was moving in so we got out of there quick!

We went and did zip lines close to Lake Catherine.  Everyone loved it and was so brave!!!

We ate in downtown Hot Springs that night and while we were crossing the street a lady yelled my name.  As crazy as this is it was my childhood piano teacher!!!  So fun to see her.  We caught up for awhile and she was able to meet Logan and the kids.  Small world!!

We did some go-kart racing after dinner....Tyson was a bit sad he was with his non-daring mom :).  Ha!

Next day sadly it was time to go home!!!  What a super fun week!!!  We loved every minute of it.

So thankful for my crew and time away with them!
