Camping with Dad in Mineral Wells!

Logan took the older 2 boys camping at Mineral Wells State Park during Spring Break.  They had a really fun time.  It's amazing how little you have to do for kids to love something.  It was a $12 campsite and they had an absolute blast.  Logan is hoping to do things like this a lot more with them.  As soon as they got there Logan said that Caleb was already digging in the dirt :)  That boy and his diggers....he loves them!!!

They have a lot of rock climbing there and so they spent a lot of time climbing on the rocks!  They loved it!

And throwing rocks in the lake :)  Who knew that would be so much fun?!?

And a very yummy dinner....they made hotdogs on the campfire.  Weston has a special ingredient he adds to his....cheetos!

And of course smores!!!  They ran out of graham crackers so they improvised with thin mints :)

They did some hiking on the trails too.  

They had a great time and I'm so glad.  I am so thankful that Logan loves doing this with them!!!  One day...a little while from now...maybe we will all 6 be camping together :)
