Thanksgiving in Kansas and Aunt Mal's Birthday

We had a great Thanksgiving. We flew to Kansas early Thursday morning...just in time for a yummy lunch when we got there. Aunt Pam and Uncle Matt already gave Weston his Christmas gift. He was excited because it was something Elmo...his favorite right now.

He slept through lunch but he woke up and ate himself some Thanksgiving too!

Cousin Kai wasn't there to play (they were in Abilene) so it wasn't the same....but he still had his dad and Pawpaw to play with him outside.
Lately he has had an obsession with apples. He will go and open the refrigerator and open the drawer and get out an apple. He'll carry it around and eat on it. So he had to put this one in his bulldozer.....and watch it go up and down.
Mimi and I went shopping on black Friday....not early though...this mama needs her rest :) Then on Sunday morning we got in the car and drove down to Mallory's house in Denton. Weston had fun learning to play with Mimi's iphone....amazing how quick he can pick up on it. He was playing games on it and using the touch screen.
Lunch stop at McDonalds....best McDonalds I've seen.....had a basketball goal/game in the play area!
Mallory and Jason were on their way back from Abilene and didn't know we were coming to their house. We came down for Mallory's 30th birthday that was Monday. These next 2 pictures are the best ones on here. We covered ourselves in white sheets and cut holes out of paper towels and put them on our faces. All four of us (me, Logan, Judy, & Barry) were all sitting there on Mallory's couch when she got home. It was priceless. She was scared to death and didn't know what to think of us. I think the hour we waited for them all covered up in the sheets was the best time....we were all laughing so hard just thinking about it. It will definitely be a memory!
The boys had so much fun playing with each other. They are so cute together....definitely could pass as brothers.

That night we went to Babe's (restaurant in Frisco) and had a surprise (well it was supposed to be) party for Mallory. All her friends were there waiting on us. She saw cars in the parking lot and knew something was up as soon as we got there. Oh well....we tried. My sister did the cake and it looked great....had a big camera on it and a little girl with curly hair. It was awesome.

We stayed that night at Melody's house. So it was fun to get to see them and my sweet girls too. They all woke up that next morning and of course watched Elmo together.
Cute pics of the boys....there will be one more to add to the mix before long! Eli needs a buddy!

We flew home Monday night. I was thinking on the airplane what it will be like flying with Weston and a baby next time....think I'll just save those thoughts and worries for when the time comes. Weston actually did pretty good on the plane this time. His favorite things are raising and lowering the window shade about 100 times and turning the overhead light on and off. He also loves to wave at the people sitting behind us and play peekaboo with them. We had a great trip and great time with family. We are so thankful for our families!!!
