Kiersi & Kayden's Birthday Party

The next stop on the road trip last week was Denton for my nieces birthday party.  My sister of course went over the top and the cutest little party for them.  It was a vintage picnic theme.  She had a lemonade stand that she painted a sign for and we all drank out of mason jars with our names printed on a label on the side tied with twine.  She had sandwiches and bags of chips, pasta salad, and watermelon to eat.  Everyone brought a quilt to sit on out in the backyard.  And of course she had lots of yummyy dessert.....cupcakes, cake balls, homemade ice cream, and a cake for the girls.  It was a lot of work but a lot of fun.

The kids went to their neighborhood park that is right down the street and played for a little while during the party.  They were supposed to play kick ball but that didn't really happen with a bunch of kids that are age 6 and under :)

My mom had made both girls these rag skirts....they were so cute!!!

Bradleys.......Kiersi turned 6 and Kayden is 5

No telling how much ice cream he ended up eating :)

One of their neighbors had some remote control cars that he had out in the street.  They were the really expensive and amazing ones.  Supposedly they can go like 70mph and stuff.  Anyways, Weston was absolutely amazed at them and was out in the middle of the street hanging on to this guy's leg watching him.  He let Weston give it a try at the end.  He was in heaven :)
This is my sisters sister-in-law's little girl.  She is SO SO cute!!!  She reminded me so much of Tyson....but of course a girl version.  She's chubby with dark hair and squinty eyes.....love her!  I think her and Tyson would be a good match :)  I loved getting to hold her.  She just turned one.
